Skumlove has officially parted ways with Misfortune Records. The split was amicable and both side understand there is nothing else they can do for each other.
Skumlove already in the studio rerecording guitars from the departure of their last guitarist, will be looking to re-record all the songs over again. "We figure with all the changes and the additions it can only make the album better." Skum continues, "We are even looking to release a few cover songs and remix songs by some of industrial and technos top heavy hitters on different download sites and for our fan club and street team. We figure we can make like the first batch with a certain number of extras and even video footage and the next batch with others and curtain songs recorded only for CDBABY and others for Itunes, etc. Skumlove will be releasing the album themselves on their own label DEVILS UNION ENTERTAINMENT. "We did a lot of the leg work here in America on the last album anyway so why stop." Skum says, "We got the album in every American store we could including Hot Topic, so unless someone who can distribute the album better than we already have done on our own we are fine with what we are doing." Also look for Skumlove doing some local shows in October and looking for a U.S. tour in January 2010.
